Station Staffing
Operating out of one fire station, Boulder City Fire Department is responsible for a 205-square mile area with a minimum of 7 firefighter’s on-duty each day. There are 21 full-time personnel on three 7-person shifts (A, B, and C) working 48-hour shifts. Each shift is staffed with one captain, one engineer, and five firefighter/paramedics. Reserve part-time firefighters are utilized to cover minimum of 7 personnel on duty.
