BCPD Volunteer Program

The Boulder City Police Department Volunteer program is made up of citizens donating their time in assisting the Police Department in many ways. Our volunteers are non-paid and non-sworn employees that assist with various functions within the Police Department. Volunteers are utilized for:

  • Assisting with the fleet
  • Changing flags in the city
  • Community service supervision
  • Courtesy patrols
  • Fingerprinting
  • Handicap parking enforcement
  • Special events
  • Answering calls in dispatch

Becoming a Volunteer

Volunteers are provided with a uniform and training for their specific duties. Volunteers are expected to donate a minimum of ten (10) hours per month to the police department. If you are interested, please email Patrick Richardson for an application. You may also contact him at 702-589-9603. Thank you in advance for assisting our officers and the City of Boulder City.
